Exercise For Your Heart Health

By on November 11, 2013

Diet and Exercise are the Yin and Yang of Heart Health. They ensure that your cardiovascular, cardiorespiratory and cardiopulmonary systems continue to function in a strong, vibrant and healthy manner. Your heart is one of the most important parts of your body, so you’d better keep it working properly!

Stress and worry (from hectic schedules) combined with excessive body fat (from bad eating and a lack of exercise) restrict the blood vessels and force the heart to work overtime which seriously damages its ability to function properly over the years.

Fitness training, through both cardio and weights, strengthens your heart and is your best defense against hypertension, obesity, heart disease, coronary artery disease (the number one condition leading to death) and diabetes (the number one contributing factor of coronary artery disease).
