Hip Flexor 4

I call this routine “Hip Flexor 4” because they are the Four most important movements in the Rehabilitation and maintenance of your Low Back Health! But they are Hip stretches, how do they affect your back? In EVERY way.

The first 2 movements/stretches are easier and more common but the second 2 stretches need to be done with a little more caution as they deal with deeper and more sensitive connection within the Pelvic Floor/Lumbopelvic region.

The first stretch is Standing Hamstring
The second Stretch is Standing Pigeon.

The Third stretch is your Iliopsoas which should be done slowly and carefully!


The Fourth stretch engages your adductors and should also be done slowly and carefully!
